New Studios open

We are lucky to have more artists opening their studios for this year's Arts in the Ville.
One of these is Tin Shed Yarns. A must visit for anyone interested in Wool, spinning or knitting.

I will be updating this blog as we confirm our artists and nearer to October I will have details of where the maps will be available .

Kaipara Coast Sculpture gardens

 

We have just had a fantastic morning at the Kaipara Coast Sculpture gardens and they are very keen to be part of Arts in the Ville this year. Plans are underway for a great weekend.

Knitting has started

The knitting for the yarn bombing has started. I know it's a long time till October but we don't knit that fast.
We are starting to sort artist, studios and gallery spaces so watch this space as the months pass to keep updated.

welcome to Arts in the Ville

Arts in the Ville is an arts festival held in Helensville, Auckland, New Zealand over labour weekend in October.
Our 1st event was held a couple of weeks ago and was such a great success we are going to make it annual so thought we would start a blog to have a place to post info as the next one is planned.
