Yarn bombing gone mad
Nothing is safe from the creative hands of Kura Geere-Watson. Kura has moved on from preparing lengths of knitting for the trees around Helensville and moved onto her outside table and chairs.
Kura will have a selection of yarn wrapped objects on show and for sale in the Up-cycle gallery on the corner of Karaka and Commercial rds, Helensville, open Sat and Sunday over Labour weekend.

Arts in the ville 2017 almost here
The Yarn Bombing is about to start, Arts in the Ville 2017 is almost here. Oct 21st - 23rd
Look out for the fabric arrows, painted signs and trees covered in knitting.
Maps are at the printers so will be available soon from places throughout Helensville, or just turn up during the weekend and collect a map from the museum or meeting roon by the library in the centre of town. See You There!
Wood turner
One of the new additions this year to the open studio trail is Roy Scott, an amazing wood turner. Pop in to see where Roy works all weekend.
Arwen Flowers
Arwen is preparing to open her studio for the 2nd year. Being both a painter and a print maker Arwen's studio is twice as interesting to visit.
