Public art on show

Helensville is lucky enough to have 3 wonderful new wooden seats. These have been carved by the community under the leadership of the Mad Wood Carver, Denise Marshall.
At any time you can have a walk around Helensville and take time to rest and admire these new pieces of public art.

New potter for this years Arts in the Ville

We are excited to have a new potter exhibiting as part of this years Arts in the Ville.
Louise Wild will be showing her pots in the Whimsical garden all weekend.
Here is what Louise says about her creative passion

"I'm a hobby potty with a real passion for texture and colour, inspired by mother nature and some of her many talents! I have dabbled with clay for many years and get a real sense of relaxation and fulfillment from going through the process of making a piece, from initial idea to final completion.
I still feel a genuine thrill each time I finish a ceramic piece."

I can't wait to see her at work during the weekend.
